When it comes to documenting motherhood and maternity, a simple maternity session in the studio can be so lovely. If you’re anything like me, then you value a timeless and classic style when it comes to portraits. Whether you prefer more of a formal look or like to keep things cozy in an oversized sweater, keeping things minimal guarantees beautiful portraits. No fancy props. No elaborate setups. Just you and the little love you carry with you. What more could you need when the sole focus is you and the beautiful and fleeting season you are in?
One of my biggest regrets during my pregnancy is not having professional portraits taken. Even as a photographer, it was easy to let this season slowly sneak past me as my focus was on preparing for my baby’s arrival.. I’m thankful for some self-portraits I was able to capture, but I regret not making time for a full session even if I wasn’t feeling my best and busy prepping. Please don’t let this season slip by without documenting it for you and your baby.
These outfits are a part of my client wardrobe and are available for use during your portrait session. If you’d like to borrow any dresses for your session, make sure to mention it when you inquire about creating beautiful portraits together.
