Q&A
When should i book a family session?
Typically, I recommend booking at least 6 weeks in advance to give us ample time for planning all the important details (i.e. wardrobe, location, etc.). Though sometimes we can schedule on a shorter timeline if my availability allows.
When should I schedule maternity photos?
I've found that sometime between 28-34 weeks is ideal. This is usually around the time that most baby bellies have officially popped but are still somewhat comfortable without risking getting too close to your due date.
How long until I get to see my images?
Your final images will be delivered via an online gallery no more than 2-3 weeks after your session and your complete set of 4x6 prints will arrive on your doorstep a few weeks after that.
Are digital files included?
Yes. Every session includes all final images in an online gallery for you to download. You are welcome to use these files to take a DIY approach to printing your photos, but I am also happy to help with designing custom, heirloom quality artwork for your home.
Will you help us with wardrobe?
Yes - I am always happy to create vision boards for your session as well as assist in finding the perfect wardrobe pieces for you and your family members.
Do you do mini sessions?
I do offer mini sessions a few times throughout the year. These are usually 10-15 minutes long and are a great option if you are looking for something short and budget friendly.
Where do sessions take place?
Most sessions take place in or near Troutdale, OR at one of my trusted locations. Although I am also happy to travel to requested locations in the greater Portland area and Columbia River Gorge.
How long will our session last?
Sessions typically range from 45-60 minutes. We move at your child's pace and give them time to warm up or take breaks if needed.
